MEN ON PAUSE is unapologetically, aggressively pro-women. No sugarcoating, no polite hedging — we’re just ruthlessly connecting the dots between the everyday absurd and the downright outrageous. Consider this your formal invitation to kick misogyny squarely in the balls and deflate centuries of fragile male mythology. If that sounds emasculating to you: BINGO!
Rage, judge freely, ridicule without mercy, curse like a sailor, and laugh your ass off. In a world this unhinged, this isn’t catharsis — these are basic survival skills.
MEN ON PAUSE serves up blistering cultural and political criticism alongside sharp, unsparing essays on feminism, reproductive rights, women’s health, men, dating, and sex. Our mission is simple: propel women straight to the top of the newsfeed, the halls of political power, and the summit of your reading and listening queues.
Need comic relief? Indulge in our trademark female-centric satire featuring deliciously unhinged faux columnists: Lorinda Birdwhistle, Penny Nickels, and Belinda Vandervelvet. If music is your religion, our deep-dive bios of female musical artists will overhaul your playlists with legendary repertoire. And our political commentary? Devastatingly insightful and some of the best out there — if we do say so ourselves.
Between our original novels, short stories, and poetry, and our rich biographies, historical retrospectives, and firebrand opinion columns, everything we publish shares one unmistakable voice: that of writer Chris Andrews. Smart, furious, funny, progressive, irreverent, historically astute, and gloriously unwilling to behave.
It’s time to hit pause on those endless, self-important male monologues. Give women the microphone, the spotlight, the punchline, and the last laugh.
yep!
