Women seem wicked, when you're unwanted: the MAGA mindset

Around this time last year, Stephen Miller was dishing out sage advice to MAGA men struggling to get dates. I do like to imagine that is most of them — being devoid of female companionship, that is — their advances ignored, looks of scorn from across the bar at Butterworth’s, where they are not even appealing to their female MAGA counterparts. For those already married, pretty sure their overall unfuckability has left them resorting to jerking off in the single-sex bathroom facilities on Capitol Hill as they watch Karoline Leavitt’s press conferences on their iPhones.

In a pre-election interview with Jesse Watters on FOX, Miller suggested:

“If you are a young man – it’s very important in election season – who’s looking to impress the ladies, to be the alpha, to be attractive. The best thing you can do is wear your Trump support on your sleeve. Show that you are a real man. Show that you are not a beta. Right? Be a proud and loud Trump supporter, and your dating life will be fantastic.”

At the time of this interview, Miller, whose social awkwardness and extreme political views are legendary, was already married to the attractive and well-connected Katie Waldman, and in less than five years, they had managed to pop out three kids. Three! Holy shit, Stephen! However did you accomplish that?

We kind of didn’t want to know.

But now, just a year since sitting down with his pal, Jesse, it would appear Miller’s courtship guidance has failed miserably, at least according to Tuesday’s Washington Post article: MAGA singles are looking for love in Washington, it’s a challenge. Huge surprise, right? Uh, maybe not. Turns out most women are not interested in dating fascists, especially women who have a college education, aren’t sociopaths, and have a modicum of self-esteem.

The general consensus among D.C. women regarding Stephen Miller (and most other MAGA men) has not changed. He is still creepy and ugly, and now many are aware that his wife, Katie, who, at a glance, appears the wholesome, enthusiastic political spouse, is also an all-out weirdo. The big red flag (or cape, as the case may be) was Katie describing her husband as a “sexual matador.” What the hell does that even mean? I think many of us were struggling with the thought of her having had three of his children. Now we’ll never be able to unsee him chasing her around the bedroom in a montera.

So how, exactly, did Satan’s gift to women snag his woman, when the well was running dry for all the other MAGA men in town? And how can Katie still be smiling, many wonder, after five years with this man? Well, that’s easy! She’s a sadistic sociopath. Those two are birds of a feather, flocking together, not unlike the evil birds in Hitchcock’s famous horror flick.

Leave it to Evgenia Peretz of Vanity Fair to lay it all bare in her 2020 article, Keeping Up With the Millers: Stephen Miller and His Wife, Katie, Found Love in a Hateful Place:

“Stephen, 34, and Katie, 28, had fallen in love—as young people do—while figuring out how to separate children from their parents at the border. Now, thanks to Katie, Stephen was officially off the market. It didn’t throw her that half the country was blasting him as a white nationalist due to a recent cache of leaked emails, or that one chunk of his family had disowned him. No, this was the ‘perfect day,’ Katie tweeted, and Stephen Miller, ‘the perfect man.’”

Remember all of those gutwrenching images of children in cages at the border, with audio of toddlers wailing for their mothers? Their pain, and the torture their parents experienced in not knowing whether they would ever see their children again — this is exactly how Miller and Waldman got their rocks off. They loved watching the implementation of Trump’s cruel, family-separating immigration policies. FYI, five years later, 1,360 children have still not been reunited with their families. Unreal. Everyone (i.e., MAGA people) seems to have forgotten this. Fuck that.

Katie cheerfully documented the immigration work she was tasked with in Texas. She took pride in making a spectacle of separating these children from their parents and was proud of Stephen’s significant role in developing this innovative policy. She famously stated, “My family and colleagues told me that when I have kids, I’ll think about the separations differently. I don’t think so.”

“What was clear was that Waldman became a virtual extension of Miller’s team. The story lines she shared with the press might have come directly from his mouth. Migrants, she said, were ‘violent mobs.’ The caravans, she told Fox’s Brian Kilmeade, were publicity stunts. After a few months of holding off, Nielsen [Kirstjen Nielsen, Secretary of Homeland Security] effectively signed family separation into policy. According to the new book Separated, by MSNBC’s Jacob Soboroff, Waldman told him that the intention of putting children in cages was to shock — just as Miller had said. She took a number of trips to the border, which she chronicled on Instagram: Katie, wearing a black T-shirt and sunglasses, grinning, with the caption, ‘living my best life at the border wall.’ As she later told Soboroff, ‘DHS sent me to the border to see the separations for myself—to try to make me more compassionate, but it didn’t work.’ The admission didn’t surprise college classmates I spoke with; one says that ‘I genuinely believe there’s something wrong with her. She lacks a moral compass and [demonstrates] elements of a sociopath.’”

To all the single MAGA ladies out there… really hoping you don’t forget the types of people that have been dear to Trump’s heart — people like Stephen and Katie, Jeff Sessions, Kirstjen Nielsen, Kristi Noem, and everyone else in both of his administrations — each and every one of them without a conscience. The Millers are, in essence, the MAGA version of Joseph and Magda Goebbels, the Nazi power couple who were allies, visionaries, companions, and political supporters of Adolf Hitler. They were a really good-looking pair, those Goebbels, as were their six children, Helga, Hilde, Helmut, Holde, Hedda, and Heide.

People loved the Goebbels, until they didn’t. Once it became clear that Nazis were no longer trending in Europe, the two of them killed all six of those beautiful, innocent children before committing suicide themselves. Something to mull over, as you consider whether to hook up with a MAGA — how long will that movement be trending, and what’s your exit plan when being kind regains popularity?

Hey, I get it. Some of you ladies consider yourselves conservatives, and you’re looking for someone with similar values to spend the rest of your life with. But here we are, at a crossroads in history, a time when over 69% of men who identify as Republican also identify as MAGA (this from polling by The Economist). You, ladies, have to decide whether to plant your family tree in the orchard of evil or to branch out, so to speak. If you hook up with these men and tie the knot and bear their children, those around you will remember you as part of this MAGA movement — in your hometown, your neighborhood, and among your family members. If you’re cool with that, well, there you are. But I think loads of Germans really regretted their Nazi affiliations after World War II. Nazis were pretty much hated and ostracized worldwide. And for good reason. There was no writing off their cruel policies and aggressions as simple political differences. The Nazi regime was hateful and cruel; it was that simple. The MAGA era is turning out to be the same —the parallels are uncanny.

Know this: one day, those associated with Trump and his hateful policies will enjoy their own version of the Nuremberg Trials. And it will be more difficult to get tickets for the Mar-a-Lago Trials than for a Taylor Swift concert. Count on it.

A dark romance for a morally ambiguous couple.

Over the last few years, Katie and Stephen have received significant backlash from their respective families and friends, many of whom view their behavior as so egregious that they feel compelled to call them out in public forums. Some have chosen to disown them altogether. According to Peretz, even “Stephen’s childhood rabbi, Neil Comess-Daniels, powerfully rebuked him in a sermon,” and his cousin, Alisa Kasmer, wrote a lengthy diatribe about him on Facebook this July, expressing her dismay at being related to someone so evil:

“We celebrated holidays each year with the reminder to stand up and say ‘never again.’ But what you are doing breaks that sacred promise. It breaks everything we were taught. How can you do to others what has been done to us? How can you wake up each day and repeat the cruelty that our people barely escaped from?”

What exactly in the MAGA agenda do MAGA men perceive as the draw for women? How do MAGA policies improve the lives of women? Ah, they don’t. That was obviously a rhetorical question, you fools.

MAGA men are for all of the following…

• Taking away women’s reproductive rights

• Gutting healthcare

• Cutting off SNAP benefits to 42 million Americans

• Gutting safety net programs that protect families

• Cutting off FEMA

• Resisting the Equal Rights Amendment and the Voting Rights Act

• Leaving the Violence Against Women Act in limbo

• Letting pedophiles and sex offenders get pardoned, or their cases ignored

• Separating children from their parents at the border

• Condoning the rapidly widening gender pay gap

• Undermining gender and racial equality in education

• Backing economic policies that result in stagnant wages, scarcity of childcare, a rising cost of living (tariffs), and income inequality

• Pushing a return to “traditional” values and a gender hierarchy

• Implementing policies that are crushing maternal healthcare nationally

• Decimating the Department of Education and public health agencies that provide vital services for children and protect families

• Promoting, unconstitutionally, Christianity in public schools and in all other public places

• Promoting of “trad wife” values and the pronatalist movement

• Eliminating asylum protections for victims of gender-based violence

• Cutting housing assistance programs, which disproportionately affect single women with children

• Promoting themselves, white men, as the dominant force in the GOP and government leadership

So, women, what are we supposed to like about any of the above?

Are you embracing these changes that MAGA men and the folks at Project 2025 are foisting upon us? I sincerely hope not. Sadly, some GOP women are deep-throating it — Megyn Kelly comes to mind.

The growing dissent among women, across the political spectrum, does not bode well for the men in the GOP, be it in the bedroom or at the voting booth.

Ladies, know that you’ve got the power to stop this MAGA movement in its tracks. Use it. It’ll do you good.
