I’m just done with gendered restrooms. Have a room with urinals and a room with stalls. Use the one appropriate to your biological needs.

Well said! I don't know any one of my friends that hasn't gone to the rest room with a friend when they needed it. If someone isn't willing to stand with you at your most vulnerable, they arent your friend.

Always makes my day when i see a new post from you. Reminding us what should be obvious truths, but often have been drown out by noise. I hope you are doing well!

Great to hear from you, Laura. Was thinking of a good friend on this one. These new laws are just meant to intimidate. It seems so obvious how cruel this is. (to me, at least)

I would love to see how this will be enforced. Present genital's before standing in line? and when is "trans" "complete" what about all the intermediate stages? How many pervs will use the women's gym sayin they just started HRT. How many trans women are going to get beat up in the men's room? Also we must think of poor Trumptey-Dumptey --- the next time he goes in for his patented "P*-Grab" he might get more than he was lecherous for. Oppsie. Thanks for the practical idea. It is idiotic -- elect a fascist clown get pink triangle.

Chris Andrews: As usual, with a beautiful flow of fine prose, your commentary has a moral guiding light and basic and deep truths.

I hope you’re well, Chris. When I’m inside I’m limiting online/television time and just choosing to spend far more of my time reading (all in hopes of maintaining the little sanity I have). I’m currently *engrossed* in an Abraham Verghese novel.. The Covenant of Water. I am loving it at least as much as I did Cutting for Stone. They both remind me of the joy I felt as I read The Poisonwood Bible. So, so lovely.

Glad to hear this. Really hard to absorb all that’s going on. I’m going to check those out. Barbara Kingsolver is a favorite of mine.
