I've given way more than in any previous presidential election. I'll be making calls with Center for Common Ground starting tomorrow (Saturday) night.
And I have on my car what was probably the first Harris bumper sticker in the whole country. I home-made it the day after President Biden passed the torch. I love Biden--best pres of my lifetime, which began the first summer of the Eisenhower Administration. But I knew that the Democratic presidential campaign needed a shot in the arm, and almost as soon as the torch was passed, I felt that boost like when the rocket takes off.
The bumper sticker is just two pieces of paper, one with the first 3 letters, and the other with the second three letters printed huge by my computer, scotch-taped together, and the whole thing scotch-taped to the rear bumper of my Civic. Nonetheless, it's made it through at least one wicked rainstorm, intact, and looking no worse for the wear!
